Calistoga Wedding At Triple S Ranch | Chris & Brittany

Some weddings feel like a single day. This one felt like a full-on experience.

Chris and Brittany came all the way from Salt Lake City to host a two-day celebration in Calistoga, California, and somehow managed to make it feel both wildly intentional and completely laid back at the same time. The setting was Triple S Ranch, a private two-acre estate tucked into Napa County wine country that sleeps up to 60 people—which meant everyone stayed together, lingered longer, and leaned fully into the weekend.

The festivities kicked off with a welcome dinner that immediately set the tone. Wood-fired pizza straight from the on-site pizza oven, Napa Valley wine flowing freely (as it should), and guests wearing personalized bandanas and name bracelets made just for them. It felt less like a formal event and more like the world’s best dinner party—one where every detail had been thought through without ever feeling overdone.

The ceremony took place the following day beneath a massive redwood tree, the kind that makes you go quiet without realizing it. Before any guests arrived, Chris and Brittany shared private vows—just the two of them—grounded, emotional, and completely theirs. By the time they met again under the redwoods, there was this calm confidence in the air. They had already chosen each other in the most personal way.

And then… the reception flipped the switch.

If you’ve ever wondered what an Electric Forest–inspired wedding looks like indoors, this was it. A DJ, an inside laser show, and a dance floor that stayed packed all night. The energy was unreal—joyful, unhinged in the best way, and fueled by good music, good wine, and a guest list that understood the assignment.

What made this weekend unforgettable wasn’t just the setting or the party (though both were top-tier). It was how seamlessly everything flowed—from quiet, intentional moments to full-on celebration—without ever losing its sense of ease. Chris and Brittany created a wedding that felt like them: thoughtful, fun, and deeply connected.

Triple S Ranch proved to be the perfect backdrop for a Calistoga wedding that blurred the lines between destination wedding and intimate retreat. If you’re dreaming of a wine country celebration that feels immersive, personal, and a little bit epic, this one set the bar.

Some weekends you photograph. Others you feel lucky to witness. This was absolutely the second kind.
